Remembering the past helps us to always remember how far we have been brought through, a good reminder of not repeating the same mistakes. Most of all, it comes down to the root of all, the one who brought us through the ups and downs.

Yesterday I saw this father with left crippled leg playing around with his daughter in the playground. No matter where the daughter ran, he would followed, though the movement was really uncomfortable for him. I was touched for the moment, that's how wide a father's love is for his child.

On the way to train station, I told myself this time I'm not going to rush, would just take my sweet time to walk. While walking around hunting for shoes even though I couldn't see any shoe shop, but believing in my heart that there would be one. I don't know why I was so confident at that moment. Few minutes later I found shops. Amazing huh?

We're so used to "keeping in time" that we lose the enjoyment of every moment that we're in. Sometimes we even lose the sense of direction where our heart could lead us. That's why we get exhausted, feeling hectic easily. Why should we be rushing all the time? Change now, for good.

I've seen miracles just happen,

Before I checked my 2011 resolutions on the last day of last year, I was thinking had all my resolutions achieved? To my amazement, most of them were achieved! I have never expect that actually, because I know myself too well that I don't think I would take resolutions seriously. But one funny thing I realized was that as I took the initiative to pray everyday, forgetting that my resolutions list was actually included in my prayer, how funny is that. Guess my brain memory is a bit too full, hehe. To sum everything up, last year had been a great year to me, despite bad time management and others. One breakthrough after another is just like miracles that drop from heaven. I've learnt that if only we ask and believe in faith, if it's meant for you for good, it'll be given to you-Matt. 7:7.

So for 2012's resolutions, I'm yet to plan and jot them down. At the same time, I'm ready to embrace even more for this year.

This is one of the few trips which I actually felt hard to leave home. My heart sank when I knew the next day I'm leaving. When things get better, it's even harder to leave behind. Felt the warmth of love when younger brother said goodbye before he left early in the morning, which is an unusual thing. I felt loved for a moment.

This year's christmas celebration has been a blessed one. Other than wishes, gifts, morning church service, christmas dinner, the presence of family left the remarkable memories. I've always wanted to see that it comes to pass, and now that it happened. My very first time, awesome! I'm glad how things have been happening, even those little things. A few thoughts have been running in my mind. So I've been thinking, is this the place I belong to? After away from home for long, I feel like myself not getting used to the environment at first, missing out lots of things. But after some time, then I finally found out that that's the atmosphere where I was used to, where I found myself belong to and most importantly, where I found what life really means. A few times, or lots of times, I feel like giving up, broke down literally. But every time just when I'm at the verge of giving up, God just planned it perfectly that everything just fall into place so beautifully. How amazing!

'The more we know, the less we believe'-a pretty strange statement that I read today. I was really confused at first, because the normal saying goes like this- 'the more we know, the more we believe', and you imply that in most of the life experiences. Isn't it? But not until when I finished reading the whole thing.

"Why then should we worship less? We are more impressed with our discovery of the light switch than with the one who invented electricity. And rather than worship the Creator, we worship the creation. No wonder there is no wonder! We’ve figured it all out!"

That's the reason the writer says 'the more we know, the less we believe.'

Expectations-so all these while are you living the expectations of your parents, the people around you or you yourself? I'm sure most of us would say the expectations of our parents and the people around us. And this is how we get tired,exhausted easily. We work hard merely just to meet their expectations.

If you're following your own expectations, you will get the same feeling too. But there would be one thing that differs, which is passion. The reason you would set the expectations for yourself is because you've the passion for it. All these while I could say it's only passion that drives me, keeps me going in life. Thanks to my parents that gives us the freedom to choose, make decisions ourselves, that's how we could do things out of passion, not because of their expectations. When I've the passion to do something, I begin to set expectations for it. Not to forget, 'joy' is also important. So it's good when expectations comes along with passion and joy.

I came across this passage on wednesday-"If life is "because I have to"-where's the joy in that?"

Even if life throws something bad on you, you're just gonna make the best out of it. I always believe that the life that has been given to us is meant to live joyfully and purposefully. :)

Just when I was asking why all these things happen again, a picture of an old man collecting money near the street flashed in my mind. This picture reminded me of the time when I saw exactly the same scene in LRT station (you can see it everywhere though). And a question just popped up to me-"Aren't you more blessed than the old man, those people who are poorer than you?"

It just strucked me. I've so much more compared to the old man-family,friends, gadget(phone, laptop, camera), etc. Standing by the street and hoping those who pass by would give him a penny is the old man's only hope for every day. I actually wonder whether or not he is able to sustain himself with those little pennies that he collects. Probably he doesn't even have proper meals. I'm sure he does complains about his life and all, I mean who doesn't if we are all in his shoes?

I feel blessed. And I told myself that I shouldn't complain about not having enough because I actually have more than enough.

*He will make a way, when there seems to be no way.

Spent two nights in grandma's place. The communication was hard when one is quiet while the other one is thinking hard of the topics to talk. The fear started to increase when it's dark, whereby all the different kinds of noises could be heard. Challenging is the word. And I began to realize that I spend so little time with my grandma. How I wish I could be cut into half and spend with few other people at the same time. Reality hits me again-time is precious, indeed it is!

After four months plus, here I am back home. Missed home pretty much and younger brother is the only one that changed much, more chubby in a way. :) Haven't really plan out how to spend my holidays, but having a good rest is definitely in my list.

As we were doing a quick reflections in cell on how God has blessed us throughout this one whole year, only then I realized 2011 is ending soon. How fast!! Now I really need to take time to reflect on my past one year. I realized I had got myself busy with my life for the first half year, until I feel exhausted and wanted to give up. But thank God I paused and learnt to let go, felt much more better for the second half year. Yet still having some thoughts running in my mind.

Just like the picture above, I'm sure we all will come to a point of our lives where we can't even decide which is the right decision to make, the best path to take. That's simply because all seems good, right? I guess we have too often let the world tells us who are we to be. But not all of it are true, do you know that? Confused much.

So yes, exams were finally over!! :) Whatever that it is, I'm done with my papers and I'm just gonna surrender. Just hoping I can really score well. I truly felt the peace in my heart throughout the papers, really thank the One above for that. Now, what's next? Freedom-holidays!! :) :)

First paper was done, finally. Was dragging about it during the revision period. I wouldn't say the paper was easy but just felt the burden was lighter. Though my concentrations were all on the theories, models, but came out the simple questions that I neglected, so crapped all the answers. Thank God I've the peace in my heart. Yes, feel much closer to home after talking to mum over the conversation. Can't wait, really can't wait! :)

I wanted to blog about this right after the concert but my time was pretty packed. Anyhow, friends, I'm truly blessed by Jayesslee's concert! Sorry if I sounded boastful, I just can't stop thanking God for the blessings I got from the concert.Got the tickets in time and the good seats. third row, right in the middle, just the right seats! :)

This was my very first concert that I paid so much for it, despite the christian concerts, it was worth it. At first I was actually a bit disappointed but not until when they both shared their testimony about their mum. I was pretty amazed that they were so daring to share it out publicly. It was actually my second time listening to it, and I had tears in my eyes compared to the first time it was just a feeling.

What they shared was just so relevant to my own life, like why all the things happened on me and why not others. And it just flashed back the memories. It's hard sometimes to think of it, but life is never fair, yes? But you will definitely be proud of yourself one day as you look back. It is through all the circumstances that has helped you to grow even stronger in Him.

Well, the twins have been ministering to people through music, their voices. I love the way they harmonize the voices, it just blends in so well. They have really inspire me, especially Sonia, make me wanting to learn guitar even more now. :)

I think sometimes people do think a lot, no? Like you are thinking over something and that something makes you keep thinking. Then more and more things/questions popped out to you and you will ended up asking yourself : Why is this so? I'm not sure whether or not it happens to you but it does happens to me.

I realized as we all grown up, our mindsets and thinking change. It changes according to our maturity. Our 'wants' and 'needs' are definitely different from the past as our demands of our lives increase. Then you will begin to realize that you are asking the questions that you will never doubt upon. Those questions actually boils down to the root of all your thinking.

One thing that I feel glad after those questions popped out to me is it always bring me to the root of all-the love from Father above. :)

It has been two months since I last blogged. Hrmss, time just passed by day after day, the university life. And I must thank God that He had guided me through each day by His grace. Sometimes the little happenings in life cheer you up, especially when you're really exhausted spiritually or physically, when you need some encouragements. Simple words and prayers that come from within our hearts helps pretty much, honestly. So do whatever things sincerely from your heart, that's the best. :)

From the picture as you can see, it’s a little girl.

I was lying straight on my seat in plane and could not really sleep. Behind me was a mother with three little daughters, who were shouting, making noises throughout the journey. Then out of a sudden, someone grabbed my right hand so tightly. As I turned, I saw this little girl’s right hand holding me so tightly. For the first time, she was shy as I saw her and she quickly put down her hand. But right after a few seconds, she held my hand again, so tightly, for a few times and smiled back at me. That touch of her right hand warmed my heart. It was as if she was saying, “Hello, stranger”. Then I began to realize that what people need is just that little time, little care and little love from you. Are you willing to give that little time, little care and little love of yours to them? :)

Tik tok tik tok- soon this year 2010 is gonna end and there marks the end of my foundation!! Whootss. :) It has not been easy for me, everything is new for me. Thank God for friends all around.

Talking about friends, I've been hearing friends sharing with me about their friendship problems when I'm back here. I guess it's normal for each of us to go through that phase- where you gonna meet new faces in university/college, the different ones with different kinds of attitudes/ habits and encounter with different kind of friendship problems. It's hard sometimes, or shall I say lots of times. I treated everyone well when I first reached the college and was naive enough to believe that those friends whom I know are all nice people. After all the ups and downs this year, then only I realized, only a few that I can call them true friends. Thank God for the sharpness when comes to friends, I need it pretty much.

I have been reminded once again, life's fragile. It really is. People, forget all the dramas in your life. Dramas in our lives are never ending. After the first one ends, another comes. And even if yesterday there wasn't any drama, tomorrow there will be, or the day after tomorrow. Life is more than that.

" What does a mechanic do with a son who loves books? He gives him library car. Buys him a few thousand volumes for Christmas. Places a lamp by his bed so he can read at night. Pays tuition so his son can study college literature in high school. My dad did that. You know what he didn't do? Never once he said, " Why can't you be a mechanic like your dad and granddad?" Maybe he understood my bent. Or maybe he didn't want me to die for hunger. But somehow he knew to "train up a child in the way he should go".

This hits me, it's like referring me. But not the Christmas part though, ignore that.

What I'm trying to say is I feel thankful for my parents who are understanding, patient and are willing to give all the best they can give just for the three of us. At the same time, encourage us to be what we wanna be in future and pursue our dreams. :) It seems like hopeless for us, but you both did not give up, even when things happened unexpectedly. Thank You Father for my wonderful parents.

God is far too good!! :) :) i've experienced His goodness twice yesterday. missed bus and LRT, saw them passed by in front of my eyes, but prayers solved all the problems. praise Him!! :D :D

It was a good experience for us, to be with 20,000 teachers from all over M'sia in Bukit Jalil Stadium. Several videos from teachers who taught in rural areas were showed, even those teachers who are teaching in Sekolah Intergriti (school in prison). Leaving sweet home behind and teach in a place that's unknown to them. They do face struggles each day in school, but they didn't complain. They are brave, willing to go all the way out just to teach the students. I'm encouraged.

I just realized that I've abandoned my blog for a long time. Forgive me for not updating so often since middle of september, hehe. Time flies!! In a month plus time, I'll be back home. Weeee, can't wait. :)

Assignments were all handed in and practical exams were over, finally. But I'm still not satisfied with my practical exams. I was panic, till I did a few silly mistakes. You may think that it is just a few mistakes, why so worried about it. Big deal is, most of them played well, sang beautifully, came out of the room with a happy face. But one thing that surprised me, I wasn't that timid after all. The old-self me, I would had cry. It's different for this time. There was an inner voice that kept telling me to move on and for that moment onwards I chose to surrender all to Him. "Don't be afraid, but fear the Lord."- the line that I kept reminded myself.

I feel blessed and loved this week. Thank God for sending friends that truly care. It has been a tough week for me, but His grace is enough for me. :) :)

10.10.2010. Many people have noted that today's gonna be a special day. And thereis one interesting fact about this year's october, there are five fridays, five saturdays and five sundays in the month itself. Interesting enough? :D

I have discovered a new journey. I've seen how things work through prayers. It is so awesome. I am actually very excited about it and I enjoy doing it. It may be tiring sometimes, I guess it will only be when assignments come. But hey, I take it as a challenge for me. In a good way, I'm disciplining myself and come out with a timetable, instead of wasting / spending my time away on doing unnecessary things. At least, I know I spend my time on something beneficial, something useful. :)

Many times, or lots of times, things may happen in an unexpected way. They can't happen perfectly at all times, eh? Then we get confused and try to assume things, come out with our own conclusions as we want to know the answers, the reasons behind these things that happen. Let us not do this way but rather let us take it positively. Let us make the best out of it. I keep telling myself to keep moving on and stand firm. And trust in His perfect timing. :)

Cambodia trip was a fruitful one. Thanks heaps to pastor and aunt mei!! :) The whole trip is not merely just about the beautiful scenery, shopping, food, but it more about the people, their lives. It's really an eye-opener for me as it is worse than what I imagined.

I realized one thing about the trees, they are all grown in
different heights even though they are the same tree! Haha. C:

You can see the huge difference between the poor ones and the rich ones. From bicycle to motorcycle and lastly car. The poor ones will have to really work hard for their own education as they don't have parents to support them. As they live each day, they don't complain much. The kids grab every opportunity they have for their education. The parents are willing to go all the way out just to raise up the whole family. Unfortunately, some families had already gave up and I'm wondering what do they look forward to everyday as they live. This situation is more or less the same to what my mum had gone through when she was young. I remembered my mum said that if she could turn back the time, she would like to go to school like the rest of the kids.

I've been complaining a lot about all the "wants". I'm sure each one of them has long for what they really want in their lives and dreams but they just keep it to themselves instead of complaining or voice it out, or rather, forget it. I guess they have lost the hope since long time ago. And everyday, they are just living the live full of hopelessness, without a purpose, repeating the same routine. I felt for them and I've learnt to always be grateful.

If you realized one thing in my blog, I've changed my blog title to "Unspoken thoughts". It crossed my mind when we had the "tuk-tuk" ride before we left the place. People may have a lot of thoughts in their minds but they have never voice it out.

It has been a while since i last blogged. Ten days in putrajaya, handed in four assignments before holidays started. it was tiring, rushing from one thing to another thing. my birthday was totally a blast. I was touched that my friends would approached to their lecturer to help them to buy a birthday cake just for both me and my another friend. An unforgettable 19th birthday!!:)

A random thought crossed my mind. These few days or lately, i've been questioning myself, what is true friendship? I've been hearing friends gossiping another group of friends, friends sharing with me about their friendship problems, everyday. And me standing in between, the neutral side, have no idea how to help them out and dare not come out with any conclusion. I find out the best solution, that is always hear stories from both sides then only we can picture and figure out the whole thing that is happening.

I'm sad and disappointed to hear that even best friends backstabbed their friends. Is that real and genuine friendship? I doubt. In my perception of true friendship, friends will always be there for us whenever we face any problem in our lives and encourage us, lift us up when we fall. And not gossping bad about you behind your back. One more thing, they will have this heart of understanding in their hearts and not the immature way of thinking. Isn't this your perception of true friendship as well?

I treasure every friendship that God gives me. We've been meeting new friends in our lives, that's for sure. But at the same time, I've always make it a point to keep in touch with my old friends too. And definitely, new friends wouldn't get to know each other so well like how our best friends do. It all takes time. So don't blame me if I don't talk much with you when I first know you, simply because I need time for that. :))

which means we have more time to prepare.

People would not know how much you care for them, simply because they are taking things for granted. It makes you feel sick, fed up sometimes that you've done so much for them and yet you aren't appreciated. You appreciate the friendship so much. Worse things may be, they betray, backstabbed you. But one question, are you still willing to care for them and love them despite how you would be treated?

Just a piece of thought that crossed my mind each day as I go to class. Seeing people with different behaviors, attitudes, characters. Colourful people, haha. :))

Finally the church camp was over and feeling much relieved after two weeks of preparing for the talents' night performance. All efforts paid off, our cg got the second runner up, whoots. The camp was awesome with awesome people!! :)) It was so good to just take a short break from studies, get my mind refreshed and recharged. :))

"Surprises come when you least expect it"- the saying is so true. I've never expect that I would get it, simply because I'm not prepare for it and I've doubts thinking whether or not should I take it. Matthew 7:7 " Ask, and it'll be given to you. Seek, and you'll find. Knock, and it will be opened to you." God knows the best and that's why He gives it to you. I'm waiting for the good news. ;)

Tonight the feeling is so different. Knowing that I'll be sleeping on the different bed, different place make me get homesick. It was definitely a good time to be back home-being pampered by parents, hanging out with friends, catching-up with one another. What a happy, joyful time.

Still, life goes on. Back to study life. :)) But heys, is there anyone who ever says that study life can't be fun? And everyday going to classes with that moody face just because we don't like to study? It just depend on how you see it. I see it differently. Life is still fun with books. More laughter, more crazy moments. Woo-hoo-hoo. :))

Another new semester. More discipline, be prepared at any time. :))

These few days, I keep having this picture of car accident in my mind. I just saw another car accident on Sunday night. It was really terrible. I saw either right or left side of shoes left under the car. A couple were hugging each other and cried. I didn't think much about it until Delia asked me how actually the accident happened and how could the shoe be there. I was wondering, could it be the shoe of the couple's kids or they accidentally knocked into a kid or it was happened the way that shoe was actually there? So many possibilities but God knows the best, He's in control of everything that happens.

I really thank God for His protection everywhere I go in everyday of my life. I've witnessed a few of car accidents and I thank God that they were all the minors one. What more to say compare to this one? I felt the sympathy, the feeling of losing someone. Whenever I see these pictures of car accidents, let it in movies or in real life, it reminds me that life's very fragile. Don't take life for granted friends. Be thankful for what you have. Live your life to the fullest, yes, to the FULLEST. :)))
